Terri Yeager, (Alan Runck's girlfriend), will be attempting to contact all RRVPA members past and present giving them the option to invest in Mean Green. The Red River Valley Pullers Association is NOT purchasing Mean Green. Alan Runck and several other members of RRVPA have formed a group of investors to finance and purchase Mean Green from Mike Adams.
The reason this group feels so strongly about investing in Mean Green is to guarantee the availability of a quality sled for every pulling event.
If we don't do this, we could have shows booked, but no sled to pull. RRVPA, its members, and the shows would all be affected negatively. At this point a dozen investors have pledged nearly half of the purchase price as a down payment, but we need more. The more money we have from investors, the less we need to finance, and the sooner there will be a profit. No investment is too small. There will be no return on investments for the first few years, until the bank note is paid off.
This is an investment, not a donation.
